For example, you can choose an angle other than 45 degrees. The last item in the menu brings you into the Format Cells dialog box, where you can make finer grained changes. There are four fixed settings in the orientation menu for common options. There are really so many interesting ways to format your spreadsheet layout by using the indentation, alignment and orientation features in Excel. Excel allows you to rotate text up to 90 degrees both clockwise and counterclockwise. When you have finished your changes, just click the OK button. You can adjust the degrees of the angle, the amount of the indentation, etc. The Format Cells dialog box will open on the Alignment tab. Click on the Text Direction icon > You can select one of the three options: horizontal, rotate all text 90°, and rotate all text 270°. Then go to the Text group in the ribbon under the Format tab.
